Fees

Castlemaine Childcare Centre is a not-for-profit centre so all fees go to the care and education of the children.  We aim to provide the highest standard of childcare.

Please contact us for our current daily fee.   Fees are reviewed annually as at 1st July.

Invoices are issued fortnightly and fees can be paid by direct debit, cheque, cash or EFTPOS.

Fees are paid for 48 weeks of the year, excluding public holidays.  Absences are charged at the full fee.  The centre is closed for three weeks over the Christmas holiday period. Fees are not charged during this period.

Our fee policy is explained to parents at the time of enrolment and is included in the Parent Information Handbook.

Government subsidies

As the Castlemaine Childcare Centre is government registered, Child Care Benefit (CCB) is available to families.  CCB is income tested and calculated by Centrelink and families can choose to have the amount deducted from their fortnightly account or paid as a lump sum either quarterly or at the end of the financial year.  To claim CCB parent/s must apply to Centrelink.

Families who meet Centrelink’s work/study requirements are eligible for the Child Care Rebate (CCR), which gives families back 50% of out of pocket expenses with a maximum of $7,500 per child per year.  It can be paid fortnightly, quarterly or annually into your bank account, or you can opt to have it deducted from your fortnightly account.
